We like to under-promise and, when possible, overdeliver. Gaining trust is one of our most important tasks. If your hair can’t do something, we’ll tell you. We won’t promise you a certain result if we’re not sure we can make it happen.
Tell us what you want for your hair. We care! If we think there’s a better choice for your texture, complexion, or face shape, we’ll share our ideas, but we’ll never push them on you. Your desires matter the most.
We hold ourselves to a high standard even behind the scenes. We stick to all our values, even when people aren’t watching. We won’t offer something we can’t provide.
We treasure our diverse clientele, and we want everyone of any ethnicity or background to feel comfortable here.
I started in the beauty industry 13 years ago, and I worked my way up. I learned everything I could about how to treat hair and how to relate to women, and with that experience, Hāste was born.
First I assisted in salons for several years, and then I began serving my own clients. For two or three years, I worked out of my mom’s living room. (Thank you, Mom!) I loved having a personal connection with my clients, but I felt it was time to experience a salon environment. (Plus, hair gets everywhere!)
Then I began renting a chair in a salon. After starting my own family, I felt it was also time to open my own place. Hāste was founded in November, 2017.
